GRUNT is a product designed for surface priming, composed using top-quality acrylic resin. It forms a strong bond within the base, thus creating a hydrophobic (water-proof) coating.
Application
For use both indoors and outdoors, for priming of concrete and cement bases, aerated concrete blocks, gypsum plasterboards and cardboards; applied prior to installing ceramic tiles, paints, wallpapers, glues, floor leveling and self-leveling floor. It greatly reduces the surface's absorption rates, diminishes dusting and prevents excessive attrition.
Before you begin, clear the surface of any dirt, oil etc. It has to be dry, too. Apply GRUNT with a painting brush/roller or have it sprayed on the surface. For heavily absorbent surfaces, you might want to lay two or three layers of GRUNT for best effect. For use on plasterboards and cardboards, GRUNT works best mixed with water on a 1:1 ratio. Having finished laying one layer of GRUNT, you must wait 4 hours before you might lay another one. The surface's temperature should not be lower than +5 not higher than +40 C.
