8371 se 2 Impregnant för Dekorsten och Dekortegel
Impregnat for brick slips is a milk-white, water-soluble silicon emulsion with a little admixture of solvent designed for surface hydrophobisation of building materials such as: porous concrete tiles, concrete window sills and roofs, gypsum blocks, cellular concrete, roof tiles, cement-lime plasters and, in certain cases, acrylic plasters.

Use: In order to achieve correct impregnation results it is necessary to adequately prepare the application surface. The surface should be evenly porous, dry, clean and free from grease. STEGU tiles should be impregnated together with joints at least 7 days after work completion. New cement-lime and acrylic plasters, as well as concrete must not be impregnated earlier than 24-30 days after the end of work. Surfaces repaired with the use of PCC-type mortar or filler should be impregnated after 6 days. Treated surfaces should be impregnated in dry weather and moderate wind conditions, at external temperatures in the range from +5 to +30°C. Prior to work, carefully secure all non-impregnated surfaces (e.g. window panels, metal and wooden parts, polished stones). In case of fouling, clean the surface immediately with mineral spirits.

Application: Impregnation can be performed using a brush or by spraying. The application method depends on the absorbability and structure of the material. In order to achieve the best results, it is recommended to impregnate the surface twice, at short intervals and using the ‘wet to wet’ method (i.e. depending on the ambient temperature and porosity of the material the second layer should be applied within 30 minutes from the application of the first one i.e. when the surface is still wet). Surface should be impregnated completely and evenly.

Consumption: Consumption of the impregnating agent depends on the absorbability of the treated material, as well as application method and amounts up to 10 m² per 1 litre of the emulsion (with a one impregnation). Store in original containers, in roofed and dry rooms, at temperatures in the range from +5 to +25°C.

CONSUMPTION of the impregnating agent depends on the absorbability of the treated material, as well as application method and amounts up to 10 m² per 1 litre of the emulsion (with a one impregnation).
N N
